Devon Vintage Car Club Charities of the Year 2023.

Picture
As part of our club activities running events for the enjoyment of our own members and our visitors we also undertake fund raising for our yearly nominated charities.

Since 1986 we have been able to present cheque donations to many local good causes as well as filling many collecting tins!

Below you will find details of the three nominated charities that the Devon Vintage Car Club will be supporting during 2023.

We look forward to seeing you at our club events during 2023, and don’t forget to bring your loose change with you!

SOUTH BRENT AND DISTRICT CARING

I
We Fundraise every year to keep the wheels turning, by running events and making opportunities for people to donate. We also have around Friends scheme around 170 strong who donate every year or more often, can subscribe to the newsletter and are entered into a bi-annual draw for £150.
All funding and fundraising goes on staffing costs, office costs, room hire for groups, volunteer expenses and support, trips for clients etc and basically everything that makes the magic happen at the front end!
I trust this helps and I do hope your presentation is successful, thank you so much for thinking of us and offering to do this for us.

MOORVISION

Moorvision provides information, advice, support, advocacy and activities for the families of children, young people and parent/carers with vision impairment (including those with other additional needs) across the whole of Devon and Cornwall. Vision impairment is one of the least common disabilities of childhood and it can be hard for these children and families to meet others in the same position. Moorvision runs activities, residential trips, parent/carer training and other child and family support sessions. We provide advice on all aspects helping our members with vision impairment achieve their full potential.
